Olufunmilayo Oduwaye
Managing Consultant/PartnerFunmi is a Partner with the Firm. She is an accounting graduate and a seasoned Chartered Accountant. She worked with KPMG for over twelve years rising to the position of Manager in Audit, Assurance, Accounting and Taxation Services with focus on Financial Services and Manufacturing companies. She was the Audit Lead and Manager on the Audit of Conglomerates in the Manufacturing Sector, Banks and Other Financial Institutions viz UBA Group, Fidelity Bank Plc, Standard Chartered Bank, Eko International Bank (now Skye Bank Plc) PZ Group, UTC Group etc While at KPMG, Funmi developed skills in the review of Business Risks, Internal Controls, Loans and Advances for Quality and Performance, Problems Solving and Resolution Management. After leaving KPMG, Funmi worked in the Banking Industry for over twelve years rising to the position of Senior Manager and Deputy Regional Group Head at Sterling Bank Plc. During her career in the Banking Industry, She had stints in International Banking – Correspondent Banking Relationship, International Trade and Finance, Trade Products Marketing and Sales, Business Development and Relationship Management, Commercial and Retail Banking, Banking Operations and Customer Service. In 2012,Funmi joined the firm as a Director and Senior Consultant and later the Managing Consultant with responsibility on Management Consulting, Financial/Business Advisory and Accounting Services
She joined Rehoboth Professional Services as Partner Advisory Services in Nov. 2014 to June 2016. During this period developed skills in Financial and Business Advisory Services . Her coverage included Business Diagnostic reviews covering Corporate Governance and management structure, Internal audit/ control structures, business models and growth strategy reviews. Institutional operations and governance reviews , compliance. Project funding reviews by International Financial Institutions (IFI), Financial Consulting on Projects, Financial Reporting. Funmi attended both Local and Foreign Seminars and Conferences in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, International Banking and Advanced Credit, Relationship Management and Team Building . She is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Member of The Institute of Public Accountants of Australia. (MIPA). She is a member of Apapa Club and Ikoyi Club 1938.
